Lithography
Lithography created within the 20th century, is a traditional printing process in which an artist draws directly onto a limestone using a grease-based crayon. The image is then inked and pressed onto paper; this could be repeated resulting in multiple original impressions. Note, this is the ‘quick’ explanation.
Founder Nicolien enjoys going into detail whilst explaining this technique in person. Each one unique, each carrying the artist’s touch, emotion, and intent. It’s a fascinating technique that bridges art and craft, and offers collectors the rare chance to own works by masters such as Matisse, Picasso, and Kees van Dongen without spending hundreds of thousands of euros.

Most of the artworks range between € 800,- and € 1.800,- making original art surprisingly attainable. Around 15% of the collection ranges between € 2.000,- and € 3.500,-, and a smaller number above that. KloppArt exists to show that meaningful, high-quality art can be part of any beautiful home. Not reserved for the few, but accessible to those with curiosity, taste, and a love for craftsmanship.
