Pochoir uit het beroemde La Garçonne waarin ‘the 1920’s Parisian Woman’ de hoofdrol speelt. Enorm sprekend werk, mede door het lijstwerk dat de rode tinten nog meer doet spreken. 49 x 43 cm inclusief lijstwerk.

Trois Oiseaux, 1955

Lithografie voor Verve 31-32, gedrukt in het beroemde Atelier Mourlot. We zien een hoofdthema in het leven van Braque; vogels, voor hem het ultieme symbool van vrijheid, de verbinder van het hier en het onbekende. 54 x 44 cm inclusief lijstwerk.

Henri Matisse

Blue Nudes, volledige serie (I, II, III, IV), 1952

Waar eenvoud en kracht samenkomen in puur blauw. Wellicht de vier meest iconische lithografien die Matisse op zijn naam heeft staan. Kees van Dongen

L’Espagnole, 1957

Van Dongen maakte deze lithografie voor het eerst in 1927, in een serie van 6 type vrouwen, waaronder de Engelse vrouw, de Parisienne en deze Spaanse vrouw. 30 jaar na deze publicatie is het werk opnieuw uitgebracht als onderdeel van Eloge de Van Dongen. Inclusief lijstwerk is dit prachtwerk 51 x 47 cm.

Henri Matisse

Apollon, 1953

Tussen 1950 en 1954 werden Matisse zijn ‘cut outs’ vereeuwigd op lithografische steen bij Mourlot. Dit was het laatste procject waar Matisse mee bezig was voor zijn dood in 1954. Vandaar dat deze serie ‘de laatste werken van Matisse’ wordt genoemd. Kleurrijk, eenvoud, krachtig. Lithografie, Verve 35-36, 55 x 73 cm inclusief lijstwerk.
